About My Line Reader

Why it exists

Every actor hits the same wall: it's the night before, and there's nobody to read the other part. My Line Reader is that person. Upload the sides, pick a voice, and run the scene as many times as you need.

How it works

Upload a script — PDF, Word, plain text, or photos of the pages — and it comes back parsed into characters and lines. Say which part is yours; every other character gets a voice. Then run the scene: it waits while you speak, and picks up when you stop.

What it reads

• Character dialogue and stage directions
• Emotional context from parentheticals and action lines
• Pacing and timing between lines
• Your voice, so the scene advances when you stop speaking
